Splinterlands new reward system & Giveaway

The new Splinterlands reward system has been live for a little over 24 hours now. I've spent so much time playing to try to maximize my daily chests that my capture rate is down to 60%. I usually try to keep it around 80% and never below 70% but I got carried away.

The first few days of a new season are the hardest to grind. The league reset makes it extra difficult to earn Reward points / Focus points until you manage to climb back up to your previous league.

Finishing in Diamond III is the absolute worst position to be in. I learned that the hard way. Starting from Gold III makes it almost impossible to farm more than 5 daily chests in your first few days.

I'm considering if I should stay in Gold I next season in order to be able to grind a ton of daily / season chests instead of farming only a few ones with better drops.

My first daily reward drops were great! After countless days of getting nothing worth mentioning, I finally pulled a legendary, one rare gold and 320 DEC! Diamond Chests are paying off apparently.
