I would say yes, this announcement is the reason for the price of Hive going up.
It is that powerful an application if you ask me.
The market seems to agree with that viewpoint. Unless it is all coincidence which might lend some credibility to the "we are living in a simulation" theory.
Those are just Korean pumps. Price action can be really silly in comparison with development. mostly it is hype based.
