It is normal to make that mistake several times.
I once changed the password for a social network and didn't write it down on paper, I kept trying and retrying for several minutes until I had to resort to another method to log into my account and change the password again.
(Only that time I ended up writing it down in a notebook to be sure of how to spell it).
