Visa is available it's just that small shops don't have card terminals. It's fees. Owners of the shops don't want it, they want cash. That is what is going on in Guatemala outside big cities. I am pretty sure that in Venezuela is the same.

I've seen that a debit card equivalent, the Bolt Card, is about to be released here in El Salvador, and it'll allow us to pay with the Lightning Network without having to use a bank :-)
Apparently they'll be linked with very low fees.
Any "credit/debit card" is owned by Visa or MasterCard. So you basically use crypto - fiat bridge every time you use it.
True, but what I've seen about that LN card is that we can load it with sats, without any connection with a traditional debit card layer. It seems to be basically a LN wallet.
Ok I've checked the website. So it is basically "plastic" NFC Card which is connected to app on your phone (don't know if you need to have phone connected to it while you doing transaction, can't find that info on the website if you do than I don't see a point to have that card honestly :D) it is just easier and more fancy but it is like "crypto wallet" in this card with NFC sender like you already got phone :)
if it's physical than there is no other way than Visa or MasterCard or if you got some specific physical card that don't use it but you need specific terminals to get payment and why you need terminal if you can have qr code with crypto wallet.
I've got cards from Cryptocom or Wirex and they are visa and mastercard. there is no other way because that is how system is built.
