It's a good article and you say it's more a store of value but for me there is no reason to hold it other than pure speculation.
I think that use case is key for long term growth and while deflationary is good, without a reason to hold it for 20 years I don't see the point.
I could be totally wrong on it and have huge regrets but that's just me. 😢

To be honest I'd say we all speculate, at some point of time, on almost every asset :)
So I agree with you it's pure speculation at this point, and it is in it's infancy, and not yet widely adopted.
