People on #Hive are here for the money. If you took rewards off the table I think that people would disappear very fast. The whole system is built on rewarding users for turning up so if those rewards fade away then so do the people.

Yes people are here for the money. But also because as a social media platform, it's nowhere near as toxic and censored as mainstream social media. Rewards get people in, the experience keeps them here

We saw it last time the token dropped to 10c. There were still rewards but people didn't want to put in the effort for so little.
