I guess this is where the 30%+ Monero surge came from.
I'd really like to know how they will accomplish this with the use of privacy coins, exchanges in other countries, VPNs, P2P trading, DEXs, etc.

It is common for some coins to go against the trend, but often it still does not break out of the trend. I generally believe in the theory that it is controlled. :)
Yeah I agree. Idk about controlled. But defibitely manipulated for the big buyers to keep getting more.
