Today while working on my javascript course I got a call from my friend, @maverieux000, who I had onboarded to the leofinance community a few months ago. He needed me to help a friend of his set up a leofinance account.
Apparently, he had gone to spread the gospel of hive/leofinance. I find this fascinating because this was never the case even for my friends, @maverieux000. I had been preaching the gospel of hive and cryptocurrency to him for over a year but he only joined a few months ago.
It took the bitcoin buzz and the endsars protest in Nigeria for many to realize the relevant role of cryptocurrency in creating an alternative away from the corrupt system many of us are used to.
PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR ALTERNATIVES.
Crypto is the buzzword on the streets these days. Almost every young person with a functional phone in this part of the world is into crypto in one way or another.
Unfortunately, most people are lured to the dark side of crypto--scams, Ponzi schemes and whatnot. They lose their money to get-rich schemes and end up tagging cryptocurrency as a scam. This necessitates the push for proper orientation about crypto and blockchain technology.
The right way into crypto is knowledge, not hype. The right way is through community-orientated programs rather than pump and dump schemes. What other platform solves this problem better than hive/leofinance.
Unlike cryptocurrency, which might be foreign to many, social media isn't. We use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc every day. Well, hive encompasses these two things.
If you want to get acquainted with the nitty-gritty of the crypto sphere with no cost or loss then hive/leofinance is the platform for you. I have used hive and leofinance interchangeably in this post but they are not the same thing. Leofinance is a community build on the hive blockchain.
COMMUNITY
A core part of any crypto project is a community and Leofinance/hive has one of the strongest in the crypto sphere. I have been of this awesome community for the past two years and I can attest to the quality of individuals that make up the leofinance community.
