I don't think anyone with less than 20 comments a day should earn up to 10 dollars on a post. I don't care how decent your article is...if you are not engaging or creating content that drives engagement you should be earning pennies

Sort:

Hahahahah hahahahah that's your view tho, engagement is very important.

Yes it is. Without engagement this space looks like a desert town and the value of our stale goes down

Honestly it's always bored when no one engages you while threading.

Sometimes you just need to get out of your comfort zone and engage with others. I do this most times.

Very good, let's keep trying and we will become better.

20 comments too small a threshold particularly when we have a microblogging niche like Leothreads.

I agree but surprising most people don't even get past 10 comments ans they post religiously twice a day. That is criminal if you ask me

Yes. that's true, but if U enforce the 10-comment thing they will comment just for the sake of commenting, just to get themselves clear the threshold mark, those shit comments shall not add any value either.

🫠🫠🫠 I know. People can be annoying. They will always have a way to cut corners but still it should improve engagement slightly.

We need different conditioning for engagement, that should be invisible to make visible the organic way of engagement.

I would think rewarding the best and engaging threads would encourage people to put out engaging threads. People always replicate what's been rewarded.

The larger problem is we are expecting too much from too little.

We should go for too average for too many people.

This is why I have a border view. Get more people involved. Sometimes I am here and there is barely anything to interact with, so I move on to other activities. The goal should be to get atleast 500 active users.

we have more than a thousand active users, but if u plot the graph it is totally skewed to the left with only a few may be (30/40) producing those numbers.

We need a flat and distributed topology.

20 comments on the post? Or 20 comments in total? I concur with the later

Atleast 20 comments a pee day. That should be a good base. No one is willing to to enforce this not to often the whales.

Start flagging people

#funwithflags

Lol flag wars alway end up mess. I have had my fair share of them

Messes are fun.. ain't you ever been in a food fight?

Auto-votes mess things up. Looks wrong to have a post with $30 and no comments. I'm less likely to comment or vote on someone who doesn't respond.

These are some of the issues. Activities should decay over a 30day period. This way people are most likely to review how they vote.

I think some accounts still vote when there's no sign the owner has been around in ages. I prefer manual curation anyway.
