So ecency isn't blocking content from certain front :ends, however, it is taking more time to show recent posts on the author's page. For instance, here is a recent post I made on ecency and it doesn't appear on my profile page but you can see it on inleo:
I am not sure if they block posts but we have found that they block external links
Ultimately, it confuses search engines. Ecency hurts overall hive linkability across search engines IMHO
The Ecency front-end has that tendency to change URLs based within the Hive ecosystem into links pointing to the
ecency.comdomain. As much as I like using Ecency, this is my biggest beef with it.
