In communitarianism, there is a concept-- an individual can not have a goal/interest distinguished from the interest of a community.

In other words, it rejects the individual interest that conflicts with the interest of the community.

And this is true on hive as those who do not have the community's interest are ousted or ignored. Hence the need to align wants interest with that of the community which presents as win-win situation

Hive perfectly aligns with the ideals of communitarianism

But then again it is antithetical to the basic tenets of liberalism which is individualist to the core. It assumes that community interest is simply the sum of individual's interest
