Your priorities are clearly different than others', but that's part of the human condition: we are indeed all different. Different things satisfy different people. It goes against nature to expect everyone to think the same way.

Well, you can perceive that someone's actions affect you negatively. You can also choose to not be affected (within certain limitations).
