Yesterday's match between Leverkusen and Qarabag was a crazy one. Leverkusen were overwhelming favorites going into the match and the bookies were offering odds below 1.2 for them to win.
So, it got to half time and the scores were 0-0. Around the 50th minute, with the game still tied, the in-game odds had risen to 1.50. Ok, this was a little tasty. Decided to put a small bet on Leverkusen to win at 1.50.
Just 8 minutes later, Qarabag scored. Ok, not looking good. Then they had a player sent off for a pretty light foul, I must say. Maybe there's hope. And then Leverkusen concede a second just before 70 minutes. Time to write the bet off.
Then the miracle starts. First, a very simple goal by Frimpong. But there was still no equalizer before 90 minutes. I thought they could get an equalizer to send it to extra time but they did the unthinkable and scored two goals after 90 minutes.
Leverkusen have been unbeatable this season and I think they'll set up a meeting with Liverpool for the final. Interesting match and what a rollercoaster.
