Very cool idea. I had tried after the split but before abandonment to get the Hive/WP blogging plugin set up but didn't ever manage it and lost interest quickly. Being able to host my content on a Wordpress site though would be handy, and being able to log in would just make that all the better. Neat idea, and it sounds like a neat bit of future work too.

Yeah, I am working on a posting plugin so people can create custom wordpress based Hive front ends. It' just a bunch of work, so I am doing everything in little plugins so that people can pick and choose what functions they want.
Heck yeah. Great idea! I was always a little shocked the original idea was left to rot, because it was such a neat one. I guess it's also probably a lot of upkeep.
Yeah, they were running everything through servers and was also taking 15% of post rewards too by making themselves post beneficiaries. I am not doing that crap. I am just trying to make it where you can post from wordpress to Hive and then also be able to pull from Hive to Wordpress! So that you can say make a community site, or a personal blog and just tie everything in. That way you have your Wordpress site and blog posts all backed up by Hive.
That's basically everything I've ever dreamed to have. When you have it complete, I 100% can promise I'll be snagging whatever modules it takes to put that together.
I'll have it all available as separate plugins or as a big bundle. That's the plan at least.
