The introduction of a cryptocurrency index on the S&P is just one more step in legitimizing crypto in the eyes of the masses and creating avenues of investment for large, institutional investors. Along with the adoption of crypto payments by Paypal earlier this year it seems to me that momentum for widespread integration of crypto into the mainstream economy is increasing more every day.
