I'm afraid to activate subscriptions to my content. Here is why:

  • seems I have yet ZERO control on who can subscribe to me, and who can not. How can avoid certain unwanted persons from my sub's ?
  • can I somehow to "unsubscribe" (from me) all those unwanted readers?
  • once activated, I may start getting ppl subscribing with wrong, overweighted expectations. I value very much my own freedom, and do not want to give out precize obligations and promises, what exactly, when (& how freequently) one will get from my content in return to his 5HBD.

There are more concerns, but those above are my main ones.

You should forward these concerns to an AMA and the #feedback tag!

I have the same concerns about my freedom too, that's why I don't want to promise things I can't fulfill. Some people feel like they own you, when they pay something to you.

The all-round solution to your apprehension is a mute button Sir.

Think this is a first version and they will release more feature in future :)

You're on a blockchain

Can you block people from seeing your BTC transactions? Nope

So you can't do that here either

For your last point - as a creator, you set the expectations with your audience

Freedom is preferable in any scenario. A well thought decision is always praiseworthy. There are many features yet to be live.

I think you have been crystal clear that you aren't making any promises.
