As wonderful as tourism is to a local economy, there is such a thing as too much tourism. That causes the burnout noted in your thread & in the infographic. Tourism needs 2B balanced with other ways a locality can gain positive cash flow.
I have visited Venice , Italy before and I totally agree that the over-tourism and the taxes makes it less enjoyable , something needs to be done about it
