Rich in money doesn't equal to wealth. Sweden is a good example. Many are perceived rich, but I would say very few are wealthy.
Monaco on top is not a surprise.

Ireland is somewhat surprising, considering ethnic/racial strife not very different from Britain. But, then again, Ireland wasn't called Celtic Tiger for nothing, and even if it is not anymore, enough wealth was accumulated.
