At this point, U.S Senator Elizabeth Warren going to inherit Charlie Munger's seat, as the Angry person (old woman) shouting at clouds and Bitcoin. How can somebody just wake up one morning and introduce a bill to crack down on crypto or Bitcoin, Hasn't anybody told her about the unstoppability of crypto yet or is she just not ready to listen to the truth? Because how would one person or anyone think they can take down the entire crypto space, like is that how dumb she is because this train has left the station?
She is a decade-plus too late, and crypto has grown too big to be stopped, Let me ask like this question does she think the crypto world is going to be affected by the bill or United States will be more isolated by the most attractive market in the last 100 years? Does the Crypto World lose something, or will the United States lose due to this bill? I wonder why she is so anti-crypto, especially self-custody? It's not due to anti-money laundering. If it was, she would try to ban large ownership of fiat or gold. She just does not want a small percentage of people to be independent, independently wealthy, and able to move without their permission.
The government and its officials are terrified people will partially or fully unbank themselves. they need that dollar and our money in the system to prop up the fiat ponzi. Banks can not do fractional lending if we do not deposit money into the bank or have money saved in our bank accounts. Many have massive unrealized losses from bonds and If more money leaves banks, banks fail like the one that has already crashed this year.

Never say never. The writing is on the wall for chains to offer as many bridges as possible to other chains. Sounds counter-intuitive however blockchains need some coordination and consolidation to continue to be decentralized. Best to study other open source projects that have been around forever, see linux.
