I really like your examples of today's technology being magic to old generations. With the way things are going, I wouldn't say anything is impossible anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if we can achieve some sort of immortality this century.

Perhaps. 75 years is a long time in the technology world. Or humanity might be wiped out.
I tend to believe there will be major advancements by 2100 that will put society at a level we can not even envision. Those who are around for it will certainly have interesting times.
This is a major concern. After the different conflicts, people still haven't learned their lesson and still wages wars. We should just focus our efforts in fixing problems, instead of making more.
As for advancements, until most of the ones depicted in fiction are achieved, that is what I imagine they will have. Flying cars, food printer or food in tablets, space exploration, etc.
Human nature does not tend to change. That is why history keeps rhyming; the participants still think the same.
Until we change, we will keep living on the same loop we always did...or kill ourselves off.
