This is very educational. This is the first time I've heard of the Rai stones. I guess its size and difficulty of moving makes it a very secure way to record ownership. The added security in blockchain is what I really like about it. The information is readily available, and it will always be there.

Well it equates to ledger based money. It might not have been used as currency in the day-to-day sense, but it was used for value capture.
