Crypto Update #15

Of course, there are a lot of things in life that are more important than money. But they cost a lot of money!

Hi Hiver!
How are you? I hope everything goes great!
As usual, we have reached the appointment on Monday, the day in which I update you with all my "financial" progress... one step at a time, I will reach the top!
I realized I was wrong with the progression of the articles, this would be the 16th update but, having got the past title wrong, it turns out to be the fifteenth and, we will leave it that way (so I avoid getting confused further... as for the comics I will consider the first as number 0 heh heh!).
The past week has been quite productive, I'm trying to put on another form of income that allows me to speed up the times a little and also to accumulate assets, I'll tell you about it at the end, as it will become part of this weekly update.
Now let's get started!

Let's always start from my ETF portfolio; as you can see from the pictures I have not made any further investments at the moment.
The market is recovering slightly, let's hope it can take flight in this new year!

Now let's move on to Betfury; the novelty here is that the value of the coin, in the last two days, has risen a bit, furthermore the users have started grinding bets again and our dividend has risen slightly, now we settle on the figure of 1$ and even a few cents in more! I currently own 67270 BFG.

As far as Starbets is concerned, it sails in the same way as Betfury, I reinvest the dividends and continue to accumulate tokens; I currently receive $2.50 in dividends and own 213110 Stars…

Here we are at the real news of the week; as i wrote in some past posts i tried to get closer to the world of Splinterlands, i bought some cards... then i realized i didn't have enough time to play loool!
Well I thought: why keep the cards still? I could rent them and make some money!
It seems to work therefore, I have decided that over time I will increase my collection of cards and continue to rent them.
Obviously time remains limited, so I will approach Splinterlands totally as an investor by accumulating assets (cards) which I will then rent; all profits will be reinvested to accelerate growth in Hive.
To date I own cards for a value of $38 (yes, I know that the figure is low, but it will increase!) and they make me about 37 Dec a day, even here I'll leave you the screen...

Finally here are the updates of my progress in Hive; here I decided to use a strategy that allows me to accumulate both HP and HBD without slowing down growth but in any case in order to use the compound interest that is created by holding the two assets.
Basically I accumulate HBD and every time I get to 50 dollars I add 50 from my own pocket with which I buy Hive, in this way I boost my savings and put aside excellent quantities of both goods.
Part of my HP is delegated, at the moment I have 500 HP for me and almost 1500 employees in three delegations (actually the total is 1700 but in the next few days I will add about 200 HP from my own pocket, for the reason written just a little more up), the strategy is to accumulate HP first to be able to personally take care of a part of the posts (now for example I want to reach 1000 HP to hold once that target is reached I will allocate the other HP to the delegations until I have 1000 by proxy; at this point I will start accumulating them again another 500 to keep for me.... and so on), then invest in proxies which in any case have a decent return and above all contribute to the growth of the Hivian community.
Well I think now the pictures can speak...

Even for today I have come to the end of my update; as you may have noticed I decided that the cover will no longer be the same but will change from update to update, in my opinion it's more beautiful like this, what do you think?
At this point I greet you, obviously the space below is at your complete disposal for comments, ideas and thoughts.

Hug you!

This is not fair... I thought we both agreed to pay off our debt first before we start investing?

Now, I feel betrayed. Heartbroken 🥺😭😩

Noo, don't feel rejected! I would never shave you!

I'll tell you a secret, I've moved on to the second phase; fortunately I managed to pay off all my debts and now I can devote myself to investing.

I don't know if I told you so but here's how I go:
50% of my income goes to needs
20% savings
20% on investment
and 10% for fun.

I do the budget every month; obviously there are times when I have money left over for entertainment because my wife and I are types who like to stay at home so we can save on that too... in which case the 10% that is left over is transferred to investments.

Oh. Now, I envy you 🥺

Congratulations on getting out of debt.... You are amazing 😍

I am proud of you. 🙌

That budgeting and investment strategy is good. You are doing well. Good luck with everything. 💕

Thanks a lot, I didn't do anything special.

I undertake that yes, for me it is important I do it above all for my family; I want there to be the best for them, for me personally it doesn't take much, to see my wife smile and know that our pets are fine eh eh!

My Scout experience has taught me to love the essential.

Great update! It's impressive to see the progress you have made in your financial journey. You have really put in the effort to diversify your income streams and invest in a variety of assets. It's great to see that your investments in ETFs, Betfury, Starbets, and Splinterlands are all performing well and that you are using a strategy to accumulate Hive and HBD. I love your idea to rent out your Splinterlands cards and reinvest the profits in order to accelerate your growth. Keep up the hard work and continued monitoring of your investments. I'm sure you will continue to see success in the future. Best of luck!

Thank you so much, you are really kind!

I believe that achieving financial freedom comes from hard work and commitment and I'm really trying hard!

Thank you for your support and your time!

Nice article, I enjoyed the breakdown of your wealth management adventure. A quest for financial freedom, very cool.

As a player of splinterlands, I am curious, what is your approach, as an investor, when it comes to choosing which NFT cards to add to your collection? Do you look at rental pricing and determine which cards to buy based on how well they do in the rental aftermarket?

We obviously start from the quantity of cards around and how they behave in the rental.

Obviously I also keep an eye on the price, sure to buy the cheaper ones.
I also consider the fact that maybe in the future, having a little more time, I could use them to play.

For now obviously playing is excluded because I really don't fit in with the times, but in the future who knows?😉

haha I love the Groucho Marx quote!

Do you recommend then to buy Splinterland cards to rent them out?

To date I own cards for a value of $38 (yes, I know that the figure is low, but it will increase!) and they make me about 37 Dec a day, even here I'll leave you the screen...

I didn't understand this. What is Dec? You bought 140 and you get 37 a day?? that is really good.

Heh heh yes Groucho Marx quotes are among the best!

No, the 140 are the coins left after the various acquisitions.

At the moment I have cards worth 38 dollars, I'm renting them and they make me 37 decs a day... at the moment they are very few but I would like to buy several more cards as I go to earn more from the rent.

Furthermore, cards are always a held asset, maybe tomorrow the market explodes and the value of all Splinterlands assets also recovers, at the moment, however, you can buy them at a lower price than in the past so it's always a good deal.

Then maybe in the future I'll have more time to devote to the game and I'll still be able to use the cards in another way.😉

I don't have time to play so it is a good idea to do what you are doing. When I get some money I will start aswell.

Fai bene is still a passive income; you buy assets and rent them to earn something.

If you need I'm here, ask when you want!

Thank you!
