Forget about that knowledge you think you know when you are in the midst of people if it wouldn't mean that you are successful, happy and free. Someone always say to me that nobody has their lives arranged and I do not completely agree to that. While things might not go according to your plans every time, it is important to always have a plan something like a roadmap.
You cannot keep playing catch-up with everything in life including making money. One goal you should achieve is to make sure that money works for you when you are sleeping. As long as you trade your time for money, wealth isn't a goal post for you. Certainly you can be a high earner but not a wealthy person.
That said, I mentioned happiness at the begin and then you wonder how do someone meet this goal? The deal is to create happiness even in an imperfect world. You either lower your expectations or level up them till you meet them because happiness is directly proportional to expectations met. It is important to be able to find a balance for both where you know you can achieve anything in life but not everything.
You need to be able to beat procrastination if you are truly going to be successful. Once you start to treat procrastination as the main option, you have immediately signed up for failure but then getting over procrastination is a sign that you are working the path of success.
Learn to have time for yourself. Do not let life, responsibilities, hard work and pursuits take away that time you have for yourself. You need to learn to sit down and enjoy every minute that passes because if you do not enjoy it you might have lost a large number of it before you realize.
