Many yield farms across all the chains, far and wide promise you the most lucrative harvests and tales of the moon. At Rune.Farm I did not find that, and it has been great.

Aping into Rune.Farm
Back when the moon had no name and only myths, @Greencross and I was aping into many farms with promises of riches and promises of giving the moon a name.
After our attempts of finding this elusive name were foiled by rug pullers, 15 year olds with anti-bot scripts stealing liquidity (true story) and just plain incompetence we let the Ape take a rest. Sometimes the Ape was on my back other times on @Greencrosses's. I lured the ape off his back into a cave, threw a banana and we ran.
I ran and I ran and saw the name Rune.farm in a list of possible farms I could be in while surveying my miserable estate. Three farms I am and was in which I would be a fool to leave unless I could quickly recoup the loss of value. Good thing I was still wearing my shirt from the last time I had the Ape on my back.
I took a sniff of the shirt, pulled half my liquidity from each place and Aped into Rune.Farm, have I made money and found the name of the moon?
I have no fucking clue, and the moon? Well, the moon is called the Moon.
Now about Rune.Farm
I chose Rune.Farm from that list because I like oldy things, I like mythology and magic and fantastical things. It was a no brainer. I even put on some bard songs while perusing the site.
It is still a yield farm and to paraphrase @Chekohler "It is all a scam and you will all get rekt. Good, you stupity stupity people who are not as clever as me to bum bitcoin." End paraphrased-quote.
Rune.Farm operates just like a yield farm if you want it to, but the fun part and the part that will make you really want to keep the tokens is the gamification. As an aside, it really is a combination of things that make Rune.Farm and it is all founded in the heart, passion and not for nothing competence from the project founder and sole/lead dev.
Rune.Farm is completely designed with one goal. To be a game. Not like how Goose tried fooling everyone with their layered farming scam, or how others keep making new tokens to recycle money.
Rune.Farm is the foundations and beginnings of an actual game. There are 33 Runes that will ever be made, each Rune (token) created will only ever have 20 000 - 50 000 minted.

I may be a bit off on those numbers but you can read the docs, always DYOR... We eventually implemented that in Ape Anonymous also, the RTFM thing.

I am a fan of utility, and apart from one new Rune being released each week. Which in turn for those farming means fresh new massive yield percentages, and for those stacking. It means new items being released which when equipped on your character at harvest provides bonus effects.
Currently, the dev is working on optimizing the contracts for equipped harvesting because although Bsc has lured us all in with cheap, it is no Hive. AmIRight.
In parallel to the Farm, and the NFT items providing some very compelling bonuses. Those bonuses give a very good reason to use your hard-earned runes to create them. There is also a full game being developed that will use all of these tokenomics and items. Although I don't know much about the game specifics, so feel free to ask them.
Current new rune launch - still has low liquidity
As you can see in the image provided, the new rune for the week has launched, I think that makes Rune 12.
A new Rune is launched each week at an undetermined time, so a tip is to position yourself in one of the highest yield ones and slowly move into the latest one as you start harvesting it.
Each week when the harvest changes it will automatically separate it, so if you have harvests left of the previous one you can still harvest them. If you are equipped you still get your bonuses but do your math and consider gas costs.
Other than that I don't have much more to say and everything is in the Docs, or you can join the Telegram and or follow them on Twitter.
Personally I like Rune.Farm, obvious right and although I do want to make moon, I know the moon is waaaaay up there so why not enjoy the journey.

Yeah, the RPG theme is nice, and the items are the prototypes for the 3D ones so the designs change as they refine the game. With each new Rune released we get more items and gamification features. I am looking forward to see how it all comes together.
