Well, the shortest month of the year is behind us... We had 2-3 days less for earning crypto and this #HivePUD is probably the hardest to do... I mean, in total value powered up...
Also, there is another big temptation regarding powering up at these moments... The HIVE price went over a dollar (again) and some people are taking profits (don't blame them), or powering down... I'm doing it in reverse... lol... But, I have to admit, it's not an easy thing to do...
Just today, I was tempted to give up on my audacious ORCA rank yearly goal and sell part of my HIVE earnings... It's not just about the Hive price, it's also about the goal itself... Usually, I would create a plan on how can I reach some goal, and I would pick a number according to my plans... Of course, even with everything planned, I still have to do my part and DO THE WORK every single day...
But this time, with this ORCA rank goal, I didn't have an exact plan on how will I reach that... I had an idea, but that amount of work will be doubled or tripled, just for sake of getting there... So, those dark thoughts are coming to my mind, and whispering in my ears "quit, quit..."

To avoid that, I have decided to do another 1K Hive Power-Up today, and take a step closer to my yearly goal... That's the best medicine to keep me on the "right way" and creating these posts, reading your encouraging comments, keeps me pushing forward! Thank you for that!

Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and it is held every 1st day of a month.

I know it's hard from my own experience. It must be harder for you, because you have a few other declared goals to pursue. Thinking in hindsight, wouldn't it be awesome if we had accumulated massive amounts of Hive at 11 cents? I believe you did, to some extent, but I didn't. I invested more in Splinterlands instead, and I can't say I regret it, lol.
Well, I did power up when HIVE was under 15c, but I was doing it when it was over $1, too... :) So, your words are a good reminder for looking at the big picture...
One day, we will say that we were lucky to power up while HIVE was cheap, around a dollar... :)
