In these times when everything is down, it's not easy to go up, or better said, to Power up! So, I kind of feel the same as this guy in the photo lifting those weights... Also, I suppose that all you guys that did your part in this month's #HivePUD feel the same... But remember that those who are doing hard things in hard times, finish victorious!
Another problem is the competition that we have out there... The closest one is the high HBD savings rate which is at 20%! Compared to Hive curation APR which is around 9-10%, that's double earnings! Besides that, there are many other projects that have higher APR at the moment, but if you take a closer look at the current values drop of other tokens, HIVE is doing pretty good...
Also, you should never forget that HIVE and HIVE POWER isn't just about APR and printing money... As its name says, it's POWER and that means that if are having more power, your voice will be stronger! Upvoting others and showing appreciation, you will be a more reputable member of this awesome blockchain and amazing community... And you can't compare that with anything else out there... None APR can beat your power to spread the good vibes, motivate, and uplift others!

This Power Up pumped my Hive Power OVER 35K! Another milestone checked!
Is there a better day for powering up your liquid Hive than the first day of the month? When we celebrate the Hive Power Up Day! Still going strong with my 1K power-ups for multiple months in a row! Will I succeed to do it like this until the end of the year?

So, what is #HivePUD?
Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and it is held every 1st day of a month.

Congrats on 35k! Your goals and determination are very great and strong and I admire that! I am all for saving for the future of the hive community and the things being built around it which are very interesting and fun! I need to get my power up for sure and get my hbd piggy bank started. I usually add a little to my power everyday or try to. its never much comparing but you gotta start somewhere and something is better then nothing I feel. <3

I have been taking advantage of the volatility to trade between HBD and Hive. I hit some lucky swings and have increased my liquid by 20% in a month. I'm aiming to get it to about 2k Hive, then I'll power up so I can hit "Dolphin" status :)
Wow! That's awesome that you increased your stash by 20%!! I wanted to do something similar especially when I noticed that HIVE was floating a lot in the 0.8 and 1.2 range... A lot of potentials there and I'm happy to hear that you used it!

Thank you. Yeah I jumped at the chance. I had some HBD in savings, so I took it out and traded for Hive when low, then back again when back up, and now waiting for another trade back haha.
I like those types of trades where you like BOTH tokens involved and really don't care about the direction where will they go... Just imagine the price, BUY and SELL... and you win! :) :)
