The name Elon Musk is associated with so many things from wealth to technological breakthroughs to investment speculation as in cryptocurrency meme coins projects to controversies and others. All these and more forms the embodiment of one man: ELON MUSK.
If I had the volume of money that he controls and the influence that he wields, I would like to see some things done especially in the areas that he has chosen to venture into so as to make the world a better place. Let me talk about a few of them.
AGGRESSIVELY PURSUE THE ELECTRIC CAR (E.V) REVOLUTION:
Tesla has changed the automotive industry landscape and has made the dream of transiting from cars using fossil fuels to the use of electricity a reality. I will never forget in a hurry the feeling I had the first day I saw a Tesla car in the city where I live. But here is a problem, electric vehicles(E V's) are expensive and beyond the reach of hundreds of millions of people who will like to own one. Just like Henry Ford did by mass producing vehicles for the good of humanity, I will increase the production of electric vehicles and ensure that it is widely distributed across the world.
With my wealth, I will provide a huge part of my financial resources to investing in research into advanced electric battery technology and battery efficiency so as to mass produce electric vehicles and make it affordable for low and middle-income earners.. in The pursuit of a green planet, I will be at the forefront of working with nature conservation organizations and governments to push for policies that will make electric vehicles and it's infrastructure available for the larger populace.
PHILANTHROPY:
Although Elon musk's philanthropic work through the Elon Musk Foundation has helped by donating funding the cause of developing safe artificial intelligence to benefit the world and he has also given billions of dollars for charity. If I were Elon Musk, I will prioritize current pressing global challenges that is critically affecting the lives of billions of people worldwide such as hunger, poverty and healthcare. I will work with voluntary organizations and governments to ensure that less than 100,000 people go to bed hungry daily. I will provide funding towards the research and prevention of tropical and life threatening diseases like cancer, malaria,polio etc. I will work to make healthcare accessible and affordable to over 90% of the world's poorest people, my philanthropic work we also cover education as I will provide resources and support initiatives to eradicate illiteracy in the world's poorest countries.
SOLAR AND GREEN ENERGY REVOLUTION:
The cry to change from dependence on fossil fuels to the adoption of more sustainable sources of power is getting louder by the day. Elon Musk has demonstrated that he is interested in a sustainable automobile industry.For me, I will focus more on making solar panels and its accessories affordable to all, I will channel my resources to research new and affordable renewable energy models and energy storage appliances.
As billions of homes came to use alternative energy sources, it will go a long way in combating global warming
THE MARS MISSION:
The dream of someday putting humans on planet Mars has been a big adventure that is yet to be realized. With my huge wealth, I will aggressively pursue this vision and fund many Mars projects.
Since I have the SpaceX rocket technology, I will leverage on this to make it possible. I will also work to provide all necessary infrastructure to make living on Mars possible for humans.
AFFORDABLE INTERNET:
Elon Musk has made satellite internet accessible to millions of users at a cost of about $599 for the equipment and a $60 monthly subscription fee. This translates to about N904,500 for the equipment and N91,200 for monthly subscription at the prevailing exchange rate in my country. Over 90% of the populace cannot afford to pay for the monthly subscription as their monthly salary is just two third of this talk less of buying the equipment.
The Starlink Internet service is clearly beyond the reach of low and middle income earners in many poor countries. If I were Elon Musk, I will change this and bring down the cost of Starlink internet service to poor countries so as to make it affordable to a wider audience.
NEURALINK BRAIN COMPUTER INTERFACE:
The approval for the human trial of the breathtaking human computer interaction was given recently and Elon Musk's Neuralink is pioneering this project. If I were Elon Musk,I will give all that I have to pursue and deliver the many potentials that this will bring to humanity. This technology involves implanting a chip on the human brain that can interact with computers seamlessly. If I were Elon Musk, I will leverage on this to seek new ways to diagnose and treat neurological disorders in humans and also seek ways to harmonize this technology with A.I to foster a relationship with humans and A.I.
