Just FYI I fucking hate splinterlands and it's hard to not downvote those spam posts that I don't want to see.
I don't care about the game, don't want to hear about it and wouldn't pay it if you offered to pay me.

Why do you hate splinterlands?
I am easily bored with turn based strategy games, as I said you couldn't pay me to sit there and pretend I was having fun. If reaction rates are not a in game factor I don't consider that to be competitive either almost like the game slows down fast paced minds to make it competitive for morons and children.
Not very logical. Would you then consider chess to be also a game for morons, since it is round based?
Would I enjoy playing chess?
No, it would be at the bottom of my preferred genres.
Reaction rate doesn't matter in chess, which is exactly why I wouldn't enjoy playing it. I would loose interest y the 3rd or 4th turn if the opponent was slow... instead of waiting for a opponent who moves as fast as me, I would opt out of the genre entirely and not play turn based strategy games, to never have to wait for someone to make their move again. It completely ruins a game for me if there is a chance someone can go afk and stop the flow of a game.
For a comment about logic, you seemed to miss the entire conclusion I made in my comment...
And you missed the fact that nowadays many play speed chess, where the clock is in fact an essential element. Too slow? Try bullet chess, where you have 1 minute for the whole game!
Otherwise you are right, when you have endless time for a move, it is not interesting to me as well.
I would infection like to play a game of bullet chess and speed chess will now be my new defacto game mode for the glass chess pieces I have, as ornaments out of appreciation for the game. I should play it more, but don't have a opponent...
On the relevant side of this comment, there's nothing anyone could do to convince that deity or splinterlands are not annoying and not fun. I would rate either below 5/10 for a game rating and would not play them again after the first 10 minutes of either.
There was no present learning curve, no character dialogue, and very little game mechanics that appeal to me personally. After realizing I wouldn't give a game a passing grade, I never touch it again or discuss it...
Much like Grand Theft Auto which is also tediously boring to me, due to the dynamic of interaction between players being very low IQ and not competitive.
