Oh really this is interesting, when you say coinage do you mean digital coins or an actual coin like a gold coin looks

I need its full name in order to know which one it is.
I would only be interested in it, if it is going to be American currency.
Gold, to me, is going to zero. Worth as much as a soft, yellow, shiny metal.
Digital, provable scarcity is where its at.
But the rest of the world hasn't caught on, and so, i believe the next "money" will need to be gold-backed, because people aren't going to accept anything else. But, at the same time, more and more will accept bitcoin.
Since Bitcoin Fluctuates in Value, I consider it more of a "Commodity" than a "Monetary Tool:"... Supply and Demand will apply when it comes to Bitcoin...
