Unfortunately government red-tape never allows these "emergency measures" to be rolled back. Look no farther than Social Security for the perfect example... look at how well that's going today.

AFAIK, Social Security was never intended to be temporary.

Except maybe among those who voted against it when it was enacted. 😅

Social insurance? I wonder what they meant by that.

It's an unsustainable system inherently based on forced debt.
We will live to see its complete and systemic failure.
