Canterbury in particular has bent the rules as far as they can to somewhat get around the anti no-limit law. They’ll have 2- or 3-hour “tournaments” (i.e. you can’t just walk away from the game whenever you want) where if the game starts as 1/2 with a $200 buy-in, the blinds will increase to 1/3 halfway through a timed event. But players can re-buy if they bust and it is plays very similar to a NL cash game. Given enough demand, they’ll also spread 2/5 and 5/10 games. When the room has a major tournament running, a few times a year they’ll have even bigger games.

But LHE and Omaha-8 are the cardroom’s bread and butter, with an occasional 7-Stud game.

Yeah I played in those tournament cash games as well in Portland.
They basically ran $2 NL and $5 NL tables that ended every hour.
