little bitcoin hodling episode 02.jpg

Honestly, I have been trying to write this post for a few days now. I had some difficulties in expressing my follow up with the "Little Bitcoin Hodl Challenge". I didn't take into account to write down the numbering of my Bitcoin investment.

I also didn't remember to save some images detailing my journey from the time I entered the Venus platform to the time I spent my BTC.

Besides having lost a few dollars on the way to .....

I will try to briefly explain my experience with Venus in the best possible way. It was not easy to understand how it works, I am still a bit green.

Initially, I exchanged some AVA's that I accumulated in the Travala smart contract for BTC. 100 AVA = 0,00424 BTC

I sent all my BTC to my Metamask wallet, along with the ones I had already accumulated. I put them to work in Venus. 0,00324 BTC + 0,00424 BTC = 0,0074 BTC.

At first I followed the suggested steps recommended by @empoderat in his "bitcoin hodl challenge".
I gave up some satoshis in Venus to earn the rewards with VAI.
With the remainder, I borrowed BTC at 55% risk, which was equivalent to $75.
With the 75$, I sent them to a Beefy pool.

When I was in Beefy, I simply started looking for pools that seemed safer, and with a ROI, not too high. I decided to use a pool with alts such as Tether, Bnb, Btc or Ether, with the aim of obtaining profitability with minimum risk. This should be the perfect formula to get profitability without risk and accumulate more BTC safely.

But it didn't happen like this ....

I am loitering with small amounts, and my greedy alterego took the decision to risk my deposit in a pool that produces a ROI of 2.56% daily.

Don't ask me how it happened, but 3 or 4 days later I was $40 in debt to the Venus platform. Haha. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Anyway, without previous studies you can't speculate without taking risks, so I will take this small loss as a learning experience.

Once I paid the debt in Venus, I withdrew all my funds and .... guess where I sent them?

Well, it is simple details that attracted me and simple mechanism of use. At the moment my BTC are staked in Autofarm, I hope to have good returns this time.

Thanks for reading me.
