Fun read!
I do think we will make improvements when crypto would replace fiat - mostly in the form of accessibility to financial systems worldwide.
I do not expect a change of power (except for a very select group of happy few) as the old system can just take position in the new system with a minimal % of their income. The early adaptors would win, for the people 1 generation later it is just a new status quo - in a slightly better system with alot more risks and responsibilities.
Ofcourse the financial revolution is really cool and I definitely want to benefit from it. I am even more excited about the implications if we embrace blockchain technology in healthcare, voting systems and other administrative systems. Where it would be able to reduce so many efforts needed to have functional information systems.

It will be interesting to see how future generations fare after the adoption of cryptocurrency is in full swing. I think there are still a lot of people today who don't realize they have the ability to take control of their own finances, and when they do, that will shift the power dynamics of today.
