Every little search will lead you to dozens of videos on YouTube or any other platform where there is a discussion about crypto to find headlines like, "this gem can do 500X in the coming months"
"These coins have a potential of 1000X"
And all sorts of potential sentences.
So what is the problem?
For people who understand and know the crypto market for a period such titles will not have too much impact, but for new investors who just enter the market, such titles can lead to a bad experience in the crypto market and keep them away from the market.
How does it work?
Lots of new investors will see a video about a particular coin that has "tremendous potential", will see that the price of the coin went up on the last day (probably because of the other viewers who saw the video and caused the price to rise), and it will be enough information for them to invest in the coin.
A few hours after entering the currency, they will start to see it go down, at first they will try to calm down because "the video said I will profit!", The price continues to go down (correction in price), they don't want to keep hodling so they're selling at a big loss, now they think that the crypto market is a casino and they will keep their distance from the market.
How can the situation be avoided?
Content creators will not stop using such headlines, whether it is to attract an audience or to pump their bags, the solution is to teach all new investors in the market to understand that not every coin you see on YouTube will make you rich, and to learn which people you should listen to and what information to get before investing in the coin.
For your attention, I'm not saying do not listen to any content creator who says sentences like these, but be careful about what information you consume, and do not invest what you are not willing to lose.
I know the taste of 10000x. So sweet.

Lol like OneAlfa has said 1000x is sweet, I witnessed it with dogecoin few weeks back, but instead of me to cash out, I held thinking if it can do 1000x, then it can do 2000x hehe, I lost it all.
Welcome to Leofinance...what onealfa gave you was an upvote worth $6, yeah content creators are rewarded by the community members for their content, that's what happened. Check out leopedia, you'll find more answers there.
So I get your message anyway, definitely 1000x claims can be misleading especially if its happening at a relatively short time, some hands will def be at the loosing side of it, mostly noons who know nothing and are only chasing 1000x.
