About three years ago, Solana dropped a smart phone called Solana mobile. I didn’t see any use buying it as my smart phone works just fine, besides it was too expensive about $1k. No one bought so they reduced it to $500, people still didn’t care to buy it. Solana started becoming a big deal again, Solana airdrops started dropping left and right and projects under the Solana network started airdropping to Solana mobile owners. People who bought the phone made more than 2.5X the amount they spent buying the mobile phone. That inspired me to want to watch out for the next crypto mobile.
Then I heard about Jambo Phone it was advertised as Aptos mobile phone, I ordered one, because I wanted an android phone after all. After ordering it, I was shocked to get a phone call from a delivering man after few days to tell me my order was ready to be delivered because I expected to get my jambo phone after 3 months. I got the phone and it was one of the worst phones I have used recently. I didn’t bother using the phone anymore, because the camera is bad, the phone lags and it’s not one of the best phones to use.
I was shocked to see that they announced its utility token, but instead of launching on the Aptos chain it’s launching on the Solana chain. I don’t know why they are launching on Solana if the phone was advertised as an Aptos phone, they have not been any announcements about airdrop for Jambo Phone owners.
