Been a long time I shilled the SAND token, which is the native token for the play to earn NFT game SANDBOX. This play to earn has been gaining a lot of users lately, besides they have been lots of partnerships between the platform and other notable entertainment platforms. For instance there was a partnership between SANDBOX and The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg A.K.A SnoopVerse, Warner Music and others.
Late 2021 we saw the price of SAND token spike from $0.7 to $6. Giving over 1,000% price spike. Although the price has fallen to $3.01, which is expected to be up soon because of the anticipated partnership between SANDBOX and K-POP. This partnership is between SANDBOX and CUBE Entertainment. Cube Entertainment is an entertainment company for the K-POP artists. You know how the world is accepting and loving the K-POP industry, they are gaining millions of fans every year all over the world.
When these people start getting involved in the metaverse through SANDBOX, you know what the price of SAND is expected to be? You know how the Koreans are with their pumps, we Hivers can relate with their regular pumps, now imagine such with a lot of PR from SANDBOX.
SANDBOX has lots of digital assets which can be bought with the SAND token, imagine the amount of money expected to be pumped into buying this token when the K-POP fans starts getting in on the SANDBOX Assets. After the K-POP partnership with SANDBOX, the platform recorded 2 Million users. SANDBOX partnership involves creating a virtual world where these K-POP labels can comfortably have a a metaverse virtual presence for their artist.
Hearing about this reminded me of how bullish I am about the SAND token and how I have derailed for a while in my mission of acquiring more SAND token bags. Play to earn and metaverse tokens saw a great spike in 2021 after Mark Zuckerberg announced his company name change from Facebook to Meta. This brought massive awareness of what metaverse it and drove lots of investors into investing in metaverse related projects.
