i trusted the DHF to stabilize the price, because while its exciting to see a pump, a dump is also possible and that wont be exciting. gad everything is back to normal

You mean the HBD stabilizer. The DHF really has nothing to do with it other than providing funding to projects, one of them being the HBD stabilizer.
