Any project in the world of the blockchain that wants to succeed needs a growing and active user base, otherwise any initial success will simply fade away for lack of ongoing support. Seems to me that puts the likes of Hive and Leo in a good place if you are taking a longer term view.
I remember when I was in the world of Blogger and had no sense of ownership in anything. Hive saved me from all aof that and reawakened my love of blogging. Needless to say, I'm in this for the long haul! :)
