The Ambassador program is similar to an affiliate program. You sign up new players and get rewarded for doing so. Family and Friends are a good start to your Ambassador career but it don't stop there. You can also share your Ambassador code anyplace that is acceptable to do so in-which you think might garner you sign ups. The rewards you earn through the Ambassador code does not cost your signup a dime. All rewards earned are given to the Ambassador from the program itself. There is two tiers (A) Silver: Requirements, 1 referral, You and your friends each earn 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook. Earn 5% of your friends’ end-of-season Glint rewards. (B) GOLD TIER: Requirements, 10 referrals who have at least $100 in purchases (via primary, secondary, or rental markets). Everything in Silver, plus: Earn a 5% bonus for for all packs your friends purchase. Earn 1% of your friends’ transactions on peer-to-peer markets. I'm sure most that routinely read my blog know what the SPT Token is but I would bet there is more than a handful that play the Splinterlands game or that frequent the Hive Blockchain that might not. For those that do you can skip to section (3) or feel free to continue reading for your own reading pleasures :) The SPT Token is the official (unofficial) blog token for the Splinterlands game. It can be earned directly on the Splintertalk blog site or by using the correct tags (#spt, #Splinterlands) on Splinterlands related content here on the Hive Blockchain. The token has a couple uses the most popular being the ability to be turned into SPT Power. The more SPT own holds the more influence one has within the Splintertalk, Splinterlands blogging platform. The next usecase SPT has is that the Splintertalk site has its own sets of NFT's that can be purchased using the SPT token. These NFT's are not playable in game and currently are available for the purpose of collectors interest. The Hive's very own Dex's list SPT for trade which include but are not limited to Hive-Engine and TribalDex. Bonus info: Before there was Splintertalk there was a Splinterlands Forum (now debunked).

There are constantly a large amount of Splinterlanders to interact with that log in daily, including members of the Splinterland Team. I remember when Aggy was recruiting people into the old Ambassador program, then the idea was that people would go into physical game stores and try to get Splinterlands products on sale there and if successful the ambassadoring person would get a cut of all sales that the store makes on Splinterlands assets for life.

I don't know if anyone actually ever was successful in that, but I had a thought of trying it, but never did.

I also remember. To the best of my knowledge some gave it a shot, possibly only made it as far as the negotiating tables with some mom and pop run businesses. Its a decent idea but signing them up is only half the battle, we need user retention.
