By market capitalization, Cardano's native coin ADA surpasses XRP to claim the position of sixth-largest cryptocurrency globally. According to CoinMarketCap, the market capitalization of ADA is now around $88 million more than that of XRP.
A significant resistance level of $0.5472 was broken by ADA, which is presently trading at $0.5583 after rising by about 8% the previous day. It did better than XRP, which saw a surge of less than 2%, and is now buying and trading for $0.3814 as of the time of this writing.
ADA seems to be making great progress toward its goal of $! recently, a few hours ago. According to CoinMarketCap and per the blockchain's explorer, the community performs 75,000 transactions every day, increasing its buying and selling volume by over 70%.
According to Forbes, Cardano is a blockchain platform that seems to become the "web of blockchains." While the so-called Ethereum killer is still thousands of miles away from reaching the fifth spot on the list of major cryptocurrencies, its potential should not be discounted.
Enter Output, a Cardano developer, suggests a date for the Onerous Fork.
Cardano's developer Enter Output explained on Twitter that the Vasil Hard Fork's Mainnet needed to be finished and controlled safely before it went live after a number of delays and postponements. The article specifies three factors that can determine when the challenging fork's mainnet launch will take place.
