Bueno, para entrar en contexto:
SHIB es un experimento de construcción de una comunidad espontánea descentralizada.
Los desarrolladores al momento de crear el token, decidieron entregar el 50% del suministro total a Vitalik Buterin, con la intención de que los quemara eventualmente y de esa manera beneficiar a la comunidad, que es teóricamente la que posee el total de las monedas en circulación.
Este token ha tenido un gran auge en las últimas semanas y ha crecido exponencialmente, tanto que han salido reportes de personas que se han hecho multimillonarios en tan solo un par de meses y con capitales iniciales de inversión realmente bajos.
Y posterior a esto, mucha gente ha ido entrando en el token, aportando capital en forma de inversión a largo plazo, pero la semana pasada pasó algo que asustó a muchos...

Muchas personas que estaban dentro de la moneda salieron corriendo y vendieron porque consideraban que Vitalik de algún modo había traicionado la confianza de los desarrolladores que habian confiado en que quemaría los tokens.
En cambio, muchos otros en la comunidad lo vieron de muy buena manera porque consideraban que era una forma de descentralizar aun más la moneda. Y finalmente, no fue sino hasta ayer que se supo que Vitalik Buterin quemó el otro 41% de los tokens en su poder.
La donación fue de una increible suma de dinero (50BILLONES DE SHIBA INU valuados en 1200 Millones de dolares) para la fundación India Covid Relief Fund, creada por el empresario tecnológico Sandeep Nailwal, quien es también conocido por ser cofundador y director de operaciones de Polygon, un protocolo que agrega soluciones escalabes a la red de Ethereum.
Lo positivo, por parte de Sandeep es que alivió la tensión en la comunidad, explicando que no quiere afectar a nadie y que los tokens no serán liquidados en su totalidad ni rápidamente, sino que será de manera progresiva para no afectar el valor de la criptomoneda y para diluirla progresivamente en los mercados.
Cabe destacar que desde hace 4 días dicho proyecto se encuentra en un rally alcista donde ha aumentado su valor un 257%.
Por otra parte, Buterin dijo:
"He decidido quemar el 90% de los tokens SHIB restantes de mi cartera. El 10% restante se ha destinado a una organización benéfica... ¡Me impresionó mucho cómo trató la comunidad las donaciones! Muchos partidarios de los criptoproyectos han mostrado su generosidad y su voluntad de no centrarse solo en su propio beneficio, sino de mostrar interés por hacer del mundo un lugar mejor. Apoyo a todos los que lo hacen de verdad."
También Vitalik le pidió a la comunidad de criptomonedas y de futuros desarrolladores de tokens que dejara de donar tokens a su billetera, ya que no le interessa convertirse en el "centro del universo" con esas acciones.

Well, to get into context:
SHIB is an experiment in decentralized spontaneous community building.
The developers at the time of creating the token, decided to give 50% of the total supply to Vitalik Buterin, with the intention that he would burn them eventually and thus benefit the community, which is theoretically the one that owns the total amount of coins in circulation.

And subsequent to this, many people have been getting into the token, contributing capital in the form of long-term investment, but last week something happened that scared many....
Vitalik donated part of the tokens he had been given at the beginning.
Many people who were into the coin ran out and sold because they felt that Vitalik had somehow betrayed the trust of the developers who had trusted him to burn the tokens.
In contrast, many others in the community saw it in a very good light because they saw it as a way to further decentralize the coin. And finally, it wasn't until yesterday that news broke that Vitalik Buterin burned the other 41% of the tokens in his possession.
The donation was an incredible sum of money (50BILLION SHIBA INU valued at $1.2 Billion) to the India Covid Relief Fund, created by tech entrepreneur Sandeep Nailwal, who is also known to be co-founder and COO of Polygon, a protocol that adds scalable solutions to the Ethereum network.
The positive thing, on the part of Sandeep is that he relieved the tension in the community, explaining that he does not want to affect anyone and that the tokens will not be liquidated in full or quickly, but it will be in a progressive manner so as not to affect the value of the cryptocurrency and to dilute it progressively in the markets.
It is worth noting that for the last 4 days said project has been in a bullish rally where it has increased its value by 257%.
On the other hand, Buterin said:
"I have decided to burn 90% of the remaining SHIB tokens in my portfolio. The remaining 10% has gone to a charity..... I was very impressed with how the community treated the donations! Many crypto supporters have shown their generosity and willingness to not only focus on their own benefit, but to show interest in making the world a better place. I support all those who are truly doing this."
Also Vitalik asked the cryptocurrency community and future token developers to stop donating tokens to his wallet, as he is not interested in becoming the "center of the universe" with such actions.
