Mmm... I’m not impressed that it’s taken so long to launch and I still can’t get in. Sounded great when they started hyping it up, but the excitement has definitely fizzled out. Open to checking it out when I finally can use it, though no expectations at this point with them dragging their asses to such an extent...
Yes I heard massive hype about it years ago.
About how it was going to be the main stream crypto that work with Banks and mega corporations.
But with that not actually happening and I’ve been centralized I just completely wrote it off.

Same. I let my beliefs blind me to what was actually being built, the anti-establishment code killing off the possibility of even considering adding it to my portfolio.

I must admit with great sorrow, my little knowledge of finance. The knowledge I have about this is very empirical. In fact, I remember that in my university the faculty of literature was always in trouble with the faculty of economics. However, now I wish I had read less literature, fiction, and knew more about financial statements and economics. I'll try to watch these videos (I hope they can be dubbed into Spanish) to get as much out of them as you can. We Venezuelans really need to reinvent our economy and expand our knowledge if we want to get out of the hole we're in. Thanks for sharing this information and these videos, @rok-sivante
I am not a hater of this project. I think what they have achieved is significant. XRP is accused of centralization, and the price is constant even after they come up with something called payID.
I think XRP would fall down last time before we see any bull run. Ofcourse, this is just my suggestion, not an investment advice.
Many mistake XRP with Ripple and choose to hate due to extremist decentralization philosophy...
Though XRP itself is no more centralized than Bitcoin. Perhaps less so, given Bitcoin is pretty much mined entirely in China.
Meanwhile, such judgement blinds many to the massive infrastructure Ripple has built for the public, decentralized ledger to utilize - ignoring the huge ecosystem growth the company has achieved for the decentralized token itself.
Have heard rumours that price has been deliberately repressed, (along with gold). Quite likely for there to be a catalyst moment where things are really let loose and it’ll take over BTC at a scale that’ll make Bitcoin maximalists cry like babies.
Of course, I’m not saying that will happen. Just that there are alot of fundamentals backing such that if it were to happen, those who’ve done their homework will not at all be surprised...
That's one of the things I really like about WAX. They already have a cloud wallet built that allows you to login with any of your social media accounts or your Google account. That is a huge barrier of entry removed for a large portion of people. Sure, right now WAX is more of a single use case for IP NFT's, but I think it could be the thing that gets a lot of people into the space. Have you looked into ChainLink much? That one has a lot of hype around it right now too.
Chainlink is solid and the only Crypto I have believed in since EOS

I wish I had way back and bought into, but by the time it had come to my attention, it had already had a huge boom and I figured it was ‘too late.* perhaps not, but either way, never had the instinct to buy in after such a huge pump in the midst of a bear market.
lol, it looks like XRP is gonna dominate the world....that's crazy....I might buy worth a few cents and turn them into millions.
