RE: 1st Month in Hive -> Got Rubbed - I Need Your Advice on Hive Heists!

in LeoFinance4 years ago (edited)

Here is my post on how to change your keys using PeakD's UI @regeneretta. It won some support from their technical people for its content.

As you are new, I would also encourage you to be careful with how you tag your post and into which community you choose to post it. This post may be viewed by some as only marginally related to finance and question it being posted in their community.

P.S. Hopefully you will take great care, if you choose to create a new set of keys, with keeping them private and secure, as no one should be able to take your crypto. Only by them having access to your keys is it possible.

P.P.S. You have a typo in your title ...

1 Q: When the money/hives are in my Savings, I have 3 days to stop a potential robbery attack. Right?Thank you, @roleerob I will follow your advice.

Happy to help @regeneretta.

I have never used the savings feature of my Hive wallet, so I do not know the answer to your question. Fundamentally, you need to be the only one with the private keys to your wallet. Once that is assured and no one else can touch your funds, you can make whatever financial decision you deem best, as to how you invest your tokens.
