The other day @coyotelation wrote a post about I living in Brazil and when he added all the author and curator rewards only in LEO, the result was a total of $ 369.17 which was equivalent to earning two wages in Brazil's currency the Real.

I wanted to get your opinion on the price pressure that people dumping their LEO or HIVE onto the market because they live off it, causes.
Do you see this as an issue?
My stance is that while obviously it is having an impact on HIVE prices, rather than worrying about sellers, we should be focusing on the demand side of the token.
The fact we have people living off their earnings means that people are here reading, writing and putting their eyeballs on the site. This is valuable to brands or anyone running ads and is a huge opportunity for someone who wants to accumulate HP to gain more control over the network.
I've said this for a while I know, but brands will surely see this opportunity soon enough and soak up some of the supply caused by engaged eyeballs.
Also, I had you on my auto voter to hit your posts once a day but for some reason, it seems to not have been working this week.
I just updated the threshold to still vote when I have under 70 VP which should fix it up (I have been keeping my VP in a range between 65-85).
Keep producing that quality content! :)

@forexbrokr you bring up a great point, many people are just trying to survive and must do what they need to do and may not be in a position to HODL Leo. But I would encourage those to at least put away 10% of their Leo as it would put them in a position hopefully to think beyond today.
In terms of eyeballs, as long as Leofinance continues to develop feature, the crowds and eyeballs and ad revenue will follow.
Lastly, I appreciate you continued support, we need to collaborate and do a forex analysis video one day.

Thanks for sharing your story - I'm going to have to check the post from coyotelation to see his too. For me, I'm still starting out on LEO but can see how there's an abundance mindset and everyone wants to help each other (which also helps themselves and so everything is lifted, not just finances) - it's great fun to be around and feel welcomed by everyone.
"If you want financial freedom, you got to play the long game" - I like that, it's one of the reasons (probably the main driving factor) I just doubled up my daily btc purchases with Luno but for Leo, I'm constantly chipping away whilst the prices are $0.15 to try and get stake now whilst it's cheap! If I can build up a big enough pot to earn off either from curation, posting and other routes the Leo team have in mind then that is life changing - who wouldn't want to work towards a dream of financial freedom? Particularly with all these options available to us to make it a sustainable way (i.e. stake rewards on top so you don't have to sell everything)

Previously Hive, it was my second income stream. But now it's my main. Because the salary in Venezuela is 0.97 which is nothing. Earned more doing post, than working 8 hours a day, for a salary that does not give you to buy bread for your children.

Yes well from an investor's point of view investing in Jumia would be good, this is because shopping online is something people have been accustomed to and covid-19 has further given it traction. Although I don't know how becoming an investor works but when it comes to how profitable it seems, I can assure you that it's lucrative. You can do more research on it @rollandthomas

i just started posting on leofinance about a month ago, and my rewards are looking good. Personally, if i can earn up to $200 monthly that will be a game-changer for me. I would achieve all my goals for 2021. Right now i am looking at building my stake to around 2000 before i can start touching my earnings. I see a unique opportunity here. bullish on leofinance.

Charity is something I always try to practice in my life. Curating (reviewing articles/posts) and providing constructive criticism and encouragement is part of that for me.

I remember the "good old days" of Steem where we helped someone to pay rent and electricity bills. Our combined efforts (upvotes) also gave someone roof over their heads. We helped someone to get food and new clothes.. We have changed many peoples lives over the years, even at low prices.
I have used earnings in real life as well. I bought a new cellphone and various other things, so we can clearly see how much of an impact we can have, and how amazing it is to actually give and help others. All that is possible because of Hive. With LeoFinance paving the way for other communities I am sure we will see Hive at better prices in the near future.. Just imagine how many lives that could be improved at the price of $1 or $10..

This is exactly how it is meant to be. Instead of all the money flowing upwards and making a few people rich from our attention. Instead under the web3 model the money flows outwards and helps a lot more people to have a decent standard of life.
You get rewarded for the value that you add to each platform. Whether that is content, feedback or just time it is all adding to the pot.
Hopefully we can expand on what leo has built and create multiple sites doing the same thing for more people.

LeoFinance can also be a game changer for those of us who are self-employed and have lost part of our income stream due to a simple loss of clients due to the Covid-related economic slowdown and "cautious" approach many are taking.
I live in the US where the cost of living is pretty high, and whereas I am not planning to take any LEO out anytime soon, it does currently present as the ONLY way I have to to put something by for emergencies."
