Blockchain has been a part of my life for quite some time. Got in contact with it in 2014, started to get lost in it in 2017, and started to study for it in 2022.

#blockchain #web3

You started before I did.

That is great. Another thing about containers is they can help us to learn about each other.

Exactly! It's like playing a team sport. We're all in this together. Was actually about to link it under your container to get your opinion, but you're faster than my CTRL + C / CTRL + V.

Hearing and seeing all the development that's going on at $HIVE excites me.
Traditional Web2 projects need to pay people to build things for them. On Hive. it's the other way. People -really- want to build on top of Hive. What a difference!

People must be "crazy" to build without pay... right? It was one of the things I struggled to see as well. At some point, I realized that Hive has the potential to take on a completely different approach to matters like that.

give so much to the community. I actually am cheering for him to get paid (or an award). But hey... that's when I realize I have voting power. You see, it is us people, let's take @Taskmaster4450le as an example of the many out here, who

It is a powerful way to show appreciation to those who you value and those who bring value.

With LeoThreads for example, it is quite astonishing to show this kind of appreciation, on short form content, which are basically NFTs.

We're all pieces of the puzzle. And by growing the Hive Blockchain with dApps like Threads. It will enforce, empower, and enhance the sole foundation that we're -all- transacting on. Even if you don't like it: this is the network effect.

Not trying to simp here, but Hive is an example of how Blockchain is done right. And those who understand this show this through the continuous development of dApps on top of it. I'm just getting excited for the time to come.

How many of you realize how lucky we are to be here? Without the aspect of monetizing your content and your time.

The value that you bring to this table, the time that you spend here, automatically reflects in your reputation score.

What other chain has this many community leaders talking and sharing their opinion, vision, and knowledge directly on a #web3 #socialmedia #blockchain?

Khal on: Is HBD a scam?:

(11 min)

Perfect time for me to start cooking some dinner.

HBD:

  1. There's currently 7 million HBD in savings
  2. The 20% APR can be changed. This could GameFi Witnesses in the future
  3. 3-day unlocking time (versus 13 weeks HivePower)
  4. You get 1$ worth of HIVE w/conversions
  5. Organic growth

yea, I love the idea so much

This will help me set up and focus on topics for sure ^^

Yea... it will

Tailored topics..

Yeah these containers are kinda like blogs, kinda not.

Dynamic blog thingies. 🤔

Yeah, pretty cool. And can be very engaging once people start interacting with it. The downside (with me) is that I'm hyperfocused when I do something (when I try to be productive). So I need to tap myself to make sure to check the timeline

I bet a frontend could be built specifically to cater to this container idea that strips away the unneeded stuff and hones in on the notifications you need, etc.

Up to 34 threads/comments. Getting there.

Slowly... but steady! :D

This is a really nice idea to keep the threads feed better. And also makes it easier to interact

also makes it easier to interact

Yeah exactly!
I have no idea how it affects the feed, to be honest. But this is super productive.

That is really great. Thread container.
#threads.

Feel free to share your thoughts at one of the topics or share some music @ the music section :D Always happy to discover new music (if I can).

Topic: #music

In case you're wondering what music I'm listening to on an average (working) day:
Feel free to jump in on this section of the threads and find out:

#music #playlist #spotify #chillmusic #behindthescenes

I honestly can't pass any day without music. On a daily basis, I listen to quite some music. 36.237 minutes last year to be exact. Well, that's just Spotify. Not counting live music or rare songs only available on YouTube (or SoundCloud).

Funky and Groovy! Definitely one of my favorite songs.

Quite digging the blank project, the open beta version of LeoFinance. Can't wait to see what happens. I'll be dumping bugs/thoughts/inspiration here.

#threads #uiux #feedback | $LEO

I'm hyped to see what happens when non-Hive projects start testing out threads. Hoping the community is still buzzing and surrounds them with oodles of support.

Maybe with some Zealy nudges :)

Would be interested to see 'filtered' threads for specific projects/platforms. Who knows, maybe @khaleelkazi is thinking about APIs already.

I'll be doing a bit of bug hunting, and will try to find some minor issues with UI/UX
Pinging @anomadsoul so he can decide if he'll bookmark the upper-level #thread for future reference.

Setting up my first container:

This instantly brings up an easy fix to navigate tabs/threads etc on #Hive as we deal with 1.8-second block confirmations.

Currently: "Username + on Threads" as the title of our tabs, it would be more efficient for users to browse through Threads if "Prompt of Thread" is displayed.

Users would consume and create content much faster (as navigation improves).

Canceling KeyChain transaction

Disconnected Keychain users who have written a Thread and push the 'Thread' button will have their Thread disappear. (cache / signer / checker)

If you're going crazy: CTRL + Z in text field recovers it.

If you're going crazy: CTRL + Z in text field recovers it.

Hm, that's a good tip! Counterintuitive :)

Nice! Happy to provide some tips along the way :P

This also happens when you cancel a transaction, or the transaction fails.

Lightbox Scrolling

  • Disable scrolling when lightbox is open

Hovering over username

  • Z-index is not displayed properly

GOSH & POSH

Seeing #GOSH numbers skyrocket on #threads is just awesome. People actively sharing -other- people (or their own) articles on Hive for more exposure on Leo is also helping out with (internal) backlinking.

Local Time Bug

After Threading, "just now" turns into: "in 2 hours" which causing a bug to occur.

Please check: meta-data of images (check for time)

Clocking in the bug

Images may break an entire thread - let's see if this is getting indexed-

Topic: Food

Let's talk about #food! What are you eating today? Drop your food #picsoritdidnthappen :)

#foodies #photography #threads

Put together some adult mac n cheese for lunch! Broccoli n veggies weenies, that sorta thing :D

Nice nice man! I'm cooking, but getting really hungry reading this. I'm lucky my food is nearly done so I can dive in! #picsoritdidnthappen Jordy!

I definitely responded to this with a pic, guessing UI weirdness??

If you get two pics, you get two pics!

Currently making #Nasi Gurih. Which is basically basmati rice boiled in coconut milk, lime leaves, and lemongrass. Super tasty!

What are you guys cooking?

Making some green beans with chili, red onion and garlic. And lets boil up some $eggs on the side as well.

Lol, the camera on my phone is so garbage. But it will do for now.

Oh yeeeeeah... quick snap before diving in :P
Decided to infuse the green beans with peanutbutter and coconutmilk.

LeoFinance and Food thread seems to be broken after uploading images.

Testing: does this affect the root thread as well? As; does this thread show up on Leo UI?
