Thanks for the mention. I am happy to know that I have someone here on Hive who shared my thoughts on the Austrian school.

I think it was also from one of Mises's books that I first stumbled upon the idea of "race to the bottom."

That part where you mentioned “'secret' bank accounts in a mountainous country in Europe," I found that an interesting confession.

My journey with the Austrians started with Hayek's "Road to Serfdom". It was tough at uni though given that you either had Keynesian lecturers or Monetarists.

And yes, the gnomes of Zurich are real! 😂

Good to hear such a confirmation from a former banker himself. 😄

As for me, as I traced the roots of Robert Kiyosaki, it finally led me to Ron Paul and then to the Austrian school sometime in 2009. I was actually involved at that time with a Filipino-Chinese business community that help spread financial literacy among Filipinos.
