I hope so!
ClassiQ, is there a FEE attached every time?
So far no fees for review. They charge $100 per year per developer account.
However, expedited reviews are paid after consuming it 2 times a year.
#apple is awful. I can see why developers are focusing upon PWA and making their browser features mobile friendly.
Bypassing the Apple power structure if vital. Too much in the hands of one company.
Totally agree with you.
#Apple controls too much
#decentralization is left with no choice but adopt #PWA
For #Hive ♦️, That is the only reason, I am building https://the-hive-mobile.app, as a PWA app.
Ah, so it can run without the container of the app distribution network or native libs?
Yeah. It is a browser so can work on any mobile phone yet dont need to download the specific app. But the brower design is catered to mobile.
This eliminates the need to be listed in the app stores.
We've submitted @threespeak Acela App for TestFlight App review.
TestFlight app is a Beta release & available up-to-10,000 users.
I am thinking of switching to PWA approach, in near future, like @taskmaster4450le suggested.
I am not a developer but it seems that, over the last 6 months, more devs has moved in that direction.
Is this an overall trend within the developer community after Epic Games, etc...
This trend started long before Epic games.
It's just lazy & fool users.
Apple is selling the idea that AppStore is only way for Data Security & privacy
It's just the beginning of the downfall of so called centralisation.
Let them learn the hard way. Monopoly is one thing you can't run FOREVER.
That is true. Unless they get gov't support to keep them in place.
