Continuos Appetite Of Making A Long Term Investment

Introduction

The habit of investment has being the true secret of so many wealthy people today. Getting their hands dirty, by staking their money in any project they belief in or might have done appropriate research about, aids them in growing more wealth.

Investment process are usually of two types: Long term and short term. Ideally, long term investment have proven to be more productive and profitable.

We often see that wealthy people or those that are living above average, prefer making a long term investment, no matter how long it would take to yield profit.

A perfect figure that has impressed me and has showed good example of making a long term investment is Michael Saylor.

The co-founder of Microstrategy has being consistent in making huge investment on bitcoin. Reading a post by @readthisplease left me in total disbelief, as he analysed all Michael Saylor's investment and the number of Bitcoin Microstrategy has bought over the years.

What makes this very interesting is that he has being doing this since 2020, and he his still consistent. This proves that Michael Saylor has an appetite for long term investment.

Long term investment requires long term planning and proper research, because its not a good idea to invest on what we did n't make plans for.

What About Saving ?

We often confuse savings for investment, as this two words are far different from each other.

Ideally, Saving means setting aside some money for future purpose. This money that are being set aside don't accumulate and might even get devalued due to inflation.

Sincerely, saving and investment are meant for future purposes, but investment accumulates more and requires a long term planning to yield good profit.

Why Long Term Investment ?

Considering the fact that long term investment takes time, the profit attached to it are somethings impressive. This impressive profit is attributed to the long term project.

During long term investment, losses can occur. But this losses can also turn to profits again as long as the investment is still on the run.

Are Long Lasting Investment Possible ?

Making a long term investment, knowing fully well that great rewards are attached to it, is not a rocket science.

There certain things that must be in place for a long term investment plan to run smoothly. Without this plans, investors might just get tired along the long run and pull out all their resources.

There are basically two(2) criteria for making a long term investment, they are: having other means of surviver and preparing for any situation.

Having other means of surviver :

This has often be the weaken point of so many investors who have fall back to their investment funds due to lack of having something to survive with, i.e they lack other source of income apart from the what they've invested.

Having other means of surviver helps to focus and reduce the temptation of tempering with investment funds.

preparing for any situation :

During a long run of investment, unplanned circumstance like loss can occur which can have effect on anyone who his/her money is at stake.

When fully prepared for any future circumstances, it gives investors motivation to keep going even in bad times.

What About Hive Token

There are some tokens that are worth staking our money on, thereby making investment. One of those token is the hive token.

Looking at how hive has grown over the years and the enabling environment the company has provided in accessing the blockchain makes you belief that the project has a better future ahead.

The price of this token is still very much friendly, which could possibly guaranty us a profitable future in few years time.

The train is gradually accelerating, and now is the best time.

My Opinion And Conclusion

The idea of making a long term investment is not a rocket science, as there are procedures that must be put in place that helps to maximize profit, which i mentioned in the post.

The comparison between short term and long term investment are of large difference. Both of them yields profit but one of them is greater.
