Everyone has been talking about $CUB, It looks like it's the only exciting thing on the market lately. There is almost no day you won't see a post in this community talking about $cub. With so many written articles on $cub, and also the launching of $Polycub, it looks like investors on chain have a lot to be excited about.
What exactly Is CubFinance?
There is a very interesting post written by @claudio83 that explains this very well.
CubFinance is a product of the Leofinance team created to provide the best of DeFi on a stable and secure platform, certified by Certik audits with excellent results, a sign of the great technical work performed on the backend.
You can check this beautifully written article here
This post explains the idea behind $cub and also talks about the launching of $polycub and what it might bring to Cub and decentralized Financed as a whole.
Alternatively, you can read this official post from @leofinance
What Do I Think?
First of all, I think that the leo team is doing great. Over the years, (with what I've read) They have done well to improve and get better at DeFi.
In terms of $cub, I can't say how much the polycub launch might affect it as there is an airdrop which alot might sell. However, in the long term, $cub promises to be a good investment.
I know i still need to do alot of research about this and understand some things. I just believe it has potential because of the team.
It also looks stubborn on the charts like $hive does sometimes. Bitcoin was dumping and $cub was still holding. Maybe it has dropped a little, It still looks very bullish.
$Leo On Mind!
I feel $leo is the most undervalued at the moment. It is currently at 20 cents! I won't be suprised to see it going up, even more than $cub.
If you look at the leo chart now, it movement looks very interesting to study. Yesterday, it looked like it was heading to a price close to 25 cents. I think leo to $1 is very much possible.
Earning More Leo Tokens Via Writing.
I used to be exclusively a chess content creator. However, In recent times, I've been exploring the Blockchain, being more active, and writing about my life and other things i find interesting.
Web 3.0 has been my main focus as there is just a lot to learn. Times are changing, Blockchain technology is developing. Everything seems to be heading towards decentralization.
At the start of the year, I started to write contents actively here, and aside the $hive tokens I've earned, I'm gradually building my $leo stake which I'm really happy about.
Blogging On Hive: The LeoFinance Factor
This is one post that i wrote after studying and observing the community. I realized that in other to explore the Blockchain properly, I needed to connect to more people. With this community, I've made alot of friends and I've learnt alot. From crypto to Blockchain gaming, down to web 3. The knowledge is alot.
In Conclusion...
While we wait for pCub to launch, Many believe it would spike the price of $cub. I don't disagree, However, my faith remains in $leo , I believe it is really undervalued and would be very big.
On @behiver 's prediction post, I actually did predict a price of $1 for Cub when pCub launches.
Anyway, Before $leo spikes to $1, I have an opportunity to build my leo stake as much as i can.
What do you think about $leo? Will the PolyCub launch affect the $leo token in any way?

One of the very important things to consider with tokens, particularly Hive Engine/Hive ecosystem ones, is the complete lack of market making. Liquidity is usually very poor and the ratio of sellers to buyers is rather significant. Spreads are usually very wide as a result which means there's little incentive for buyers to appear when they're paying quite a premium which makes any purchase negative in an instant.
These projects are incredibly niche and the ones with the ability to really control the price are mainly interested in joining that selling pressure once the price is at a level that benefits the creator the most.
So smaller holders will be more inclined to sell into the bids which increases that spread, making buying less appealing even more, and those that do hold more will just set asks that are quite delusional that ultimately few wish to fill.
So ultimately: market performance can be incredibly poor and you won't notice much of a different in these token prices/volume simply due to the niche interest. They're for the most part void of sentiment.
This is very true, infact most token creators don't care so much about what happens next with the tokens. It is very understandable as these things are still new. Layer 2 tokens are very much new, it is expected for now that the community that owns the token should market it.
Yes, I agree. We see this every time. However, I think everything gets better with time. For now, we can only just build and hodl and hope for marketing/promotion to fall in place in future.

This is actually a really interesting point to make. At which point is Hive oblivious to particular forms of manipulation? For example: we look at someone's Hive balance and reputation score as a method of gauging trust in a user. At which point do these two things result in ignorance over what someone's intentions really are when creating a token here?
If someone creates a token but the distribution results in the creators just airdropping to friends or to themselves for the most part, should it really be expected upon the community to be the ones to market the project? At which point, with reputation scores and Hive balance, do we take a look at real motives and question the integrity of those creating the tokens? Is there a clear passion to expand upon and build in a certain area, or is this merely an attempt to make some quick money at the expense of Hive users by creating a hot interest token and dumping it on them? At which point is there a slow devour of communities as increasingly centralised bodies for the purpose of personal profit?
People could very easily place expectations and responsibility on the community of Hive rather than those ultimately pulling the strings with these tokens. For then we're basically repeating the Steemit situation all over again. Perhaps on an even more significant scale in which the core concepts of Hive's ability to gauge reputation is completely lost and these larger bodies on the network slowly create a very centralised ecosystem. I think it's very important that people on Hive start to ask these questions while these concepts are quite early, to ensure that greed is not confused with passion for community.
Very interesting questions to have, with some very interesting concepts to begin thinking about as Hive does enter this new area of cryptocurrency that mimicks the rest of the space, typically one that's void of anonymity and decentralisation; and one ripe in manipulation and greed. Hopefully Hive's community can be smart enough to go forward both safely, and in a way that doesn't put this place at risk and ignoring its core values.
Thank you for this detailed explanation. I've read it a couple of times to really digest it. We can only hope for these things. Most people in charge are humans, anything can happen.
Absolutely on the money. If I buy $50,000 worth of Leo there will be the biggest candle anyone has ever seen. And will most likely dump right back to the levels right before the buy.

I agree. While I think CUB has a nice future ahead of it, I'm really bullish on Leo. It's going to be my main focus this year.

Finally, someone agrees with me. I think $leo is very much undervalued. For me, I'm going to try and build and grow as much as i can.

Although this whole leo, cub etc. to me is still looking biggy to me, it does make sense to say an item will do well cos of its producers but they won't be be only ones trading - my view though.
@samostically pls are those leo token rewards for contents posted on leofinance communutity alongside Hive rewards..?
Yes, the team plays a major role. The traders too.
Yes, just like every other tribe tokens, you can earn $leo by posting in the LeoFinance community or by using the #LeoFinance tag.

I am very bullish on LEO as well. I think PolyCUB will absolutely affect LEO's price. With the new LeoBridge and the pLEO token, a whole new potential market can be tapped. Can you imagine the growth?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sounds good to me! Let's see how things would play out.
There is always potential.. however, anything can happen lol

I am currently very down on my leo buys, but, I have earned a lot of leo through posting, cub is down bad, not sure what the returns are on cub staking and if it was worth all the losses
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think staking CUB rewarded alot of time. Some have taken them out the kingdoms to Lp now. Many await the pCub launch.
Either way, you have to be patient and also sell for profit when you can. There will be airdrop so, a possible dump might happen.
This make up for any loses you might encounter with your buys. However, I believe $leo long term.
Thanks for stopping by.

Personally, I don't let social hype influence my investment decisions. I only invest in something I understand deeply. In the case of $LEO and $CUB, I choose to work with the former for now. However, $CUB has the potentials.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There are potentials in both. I like your investment strategy. It's always easier to invest in something you can trust.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exactly man. But with time, I'll look into $cub to grab some

Learning from the stock market, they say that if you aim for a focused portfolio, limit your holdings to just 3 to 5. More than that would be challenging to monitor, not unless you have a lot of time. In crypto space, there are too many promising projects. Maybe buying here and there will do. In terms of development in LeoFinance, my focus will be LEO and a little of CUB.
Posted using LeoFinance Mobile
Yes, that way you can monitor them. There is alot of FOMO on $cub at the moment with regards to the Pcub launch, it left for us to see how it all plays out.
