A friend hit me up today, concerned. He sent me a tweet link on discord. It was a tweet from Martyparty
I get his worry, The last time we talked about Crypto and withdraw, I might have told him that I withdrew only through binance p2p. But that was a long time ago. Ever since the Nigeria Vs Binance issue. Naira (Ngn) has been banned from p2p
Binance Vs Nigeria
Sam Adeyemo wrote an article about the timeline of the events as they unfolded.
From regulatory concerns to legal battles: Key events in the Binance-Nigeria saga and their impact on Africa's crypto landscape.
This timeline tracks the key events in the unfolding saga, from the initial regulatory rumblings to the latest developments in the court case.

If you were not aware of the situation, A look at the article above would give you more insight as to what happened and how. To be honest, the situation in Nigeria regarding Crypto had been messy. But with binance, the Nigerian government wanted to make a lot of money from the situation.
I just think it's a lot on Binance, they have been facing this regulatory heat globally. From lawsuits in US to several crackdowns in Europe. Just tough!
But what is really going on?
Is Binance just tired of regulatory drama. They have been doing alot recently. They have limited several services, changed the KYC requirements for new users and now they are shutting down p2p cash zones. Should we think of it as a strategy shift or a means to an end?
But as my friend put it, "If a thing has demand, something will create a market for it. We need a decentralized solution, honestly"
"If there is a demand, The market would definitely create something"
